We offer both complete packages and pricing per figure, outlined below. The packages are geared toward journal articles, which typically include 4-6 figures. For single figures, the price is set per piece, but the price is variable on the design complexity (see below). The price is set before any of our work begins, when we discuss the initial sketch and the intended idea.

The below table is meant to provide an estimate for the price of a job in terms of the type of job and the number of figures. The actual price will be agreed upon before we begin working, and can vary depending on the level of intended figure complexity.

1 - 4 figures, graph creation and layout stylizing.

Sample pricing
Sample pricing refers to an a la carte system, based on a $75/hour rate. Again, the total price is agreed upon before the work begins, and if the figure takes less time than anticipated, the client will be charged less than what was initially set. Below are examples of figures of various complexities.
Low complexity

One or two simple elements. For example, single images of single crystal structures.
Medium complexity
$100 - $700
Most pieces fall into this category. They typically contain multiple disparate components which require time to composite.
High complexity
>$700
This category is usually reserved for full page figures, or animations, these pieces require greater time and care to bring the multi-faceted vision to life.
